Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has announced that the completed housing units under the Gedhoruveriya housing scheme will be starting the hand over process , by the end of this week.
Under the government’s Gedhoruveriyaa housing scheme, 4,000 flats were set for allocation. FDC reported that 3088 are scheduled to sign, and 3,032 agreements have been completed to date.
While the final preparations are in progress to hand over completed Social Housing units, FDC has stated that keys to the apartments will be handed over once recipients register for utility services and complete the deposit payment.
As part of the ongoing social housing project, two-bedroom flats will be given alongside three-bedroom units to eligible reciepients. According to FDC, three-bedroom flats are being allocated to applicants who scored up to 76 marks, with those scoring above 75 also included through a draw. Two-bedroom flats will be given to individuals who scored up to 73 marks.
