Mohamed Salah has announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old forward confirmed the decision in a video message on social media. He will depart on a free transfer despite signing a new contract in April 2025.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017. He has scored 255 goals in 435 appearances and is one of the club’s greatest players.
He helped Liverpool win major trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League. He has also won multiple individual awards, including four Golden Boots.
Salah has said leaving is difficult and thanked fans for their support throughout his time at the club.
