President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has attended the final of the President’s Cup and graced the closing ceremony at Galolhu National Stadium.
The match saw Odi Sports Club face Maziya Sports and Recreation Club in a tightly contested clash. The President greeted players and match officials before kickoff.
After a tense draw pushed the game to penalties, Odi Sports Club sealed a 6-5 victory in the shootout.
The President presented the trophy and medals to the champions. The President’s Cup, first inaugurated in 1946, remains one of the country’s most historic football tournaments.
