Abdul Raheem Says Result Reflects Public Trust

In a post on X following the by-election, Abdul Raheem thanked voters who supported PNC candidate Ahmed Saeed and commended the efforts of the candidate and campaign team.

He noted that the ruling party secured victory through votes cast in Addu City, an area traditionally seen as a stronghold of the opposition. According to Abdul Raheem, the result demonstrates growing public support for the policies and development agenda of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s administration.

The Speaker said the outcome was encouraging for the party and expressed confidence heading into future elections.
