Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has temporarily reopened a section of the parking area at Velana International Airport (VIA), starting today.
The area had been closed in July for the opening of the new international terminal.
MACL, which operates the airport, had previously closed both the eastern and western parking zones, preventing vehicles from parking. The company said at the time that the closure was temporary, but it led to complaints from employees and airport users.
