Maldives Ports Limited is conducting Module 3 of the UNCTAD Modern Port Management Course.
The module, focused on the functioning of port systems, is currently underway at MPL and aims to provide participants with a deeper understanding of port operations and management.
Throughout the programme, participants will study areas including ship and cargo services, berth allocation, vessel traffic systems, cargo handling operations, storage management and value-added port activities.
The training is being led by maritime expert Paul Hayes alongside Capt. Hassan Zareer, Hussain Naeem, Hayyan Rasheed Hussain and Aishath Shimla.
MPL said the programme forms part of its efforts to strengthen professional capacity within the maritime sector.
