More than 13,000 trips have already been completed through the government’s Male’ Taxi Line service, according to MTCC.
Between April 18 and May 9, the service recorded 13,073 rides serving 9,550 customers across the Greater Male’ Region.
Most rides were within Male’, with additional trips to Hulhumalé and Velana International Airport.
Launched under President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to improve public transport, the 24/7 service operates with 150 electric vehicles designed to provide safer, more reliable travel.
