MPL has opened Expressions of Interest for businesses seeking space at the Addu Regional Free Zone.
The EOI window opened on May 13 and will remain open until June 11, 2026. The opportunity is aimed at businesses interested in warehousing and free-zone-related activities.After the EOI stage, interested parties will be invited to submit detailed proposals outlining their business activities, land requirements and lease details. Land allocation will be decided based on proposal evaluations.
MPL said the initiative forms part of efforts to support economic development and expand regional business opportunities in Addu City. The lease rate for duty-free zone vacant land has also been set at MVR 4,600 per 1,000 square feet per month, excluding GST.
