HPA has said that Dengue cases have risen more than fourfold in the first four months of the year.
Health Protection Agency data shows 2,183 cases reported between January and April, compared to 374 cases during the same period last year. Cases have continued to rise steadily since the start of the year.
Monthly figures reflect a sharp increase, with January recording the highest spike, followed by consistently high numbers in February, March and April.
Authorities also reported a surge in cold and flu cases, particularly in atolls outside Malé. Tens of thousands of cases were recorded within a short period, indicating wider spread of seasonal illnesses.
Influenza positivity rates have also fluctuated this year, with several confirmed cases reported each month. Officials urged continued preventive measures to limit the spread of infections.
