President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has rejected allegations made in the ‘Aisha’ documentary reported by Adhadhu, calling them false.

Speaking at a press conference, the President said the claims made in the documentary published by Adhadhu were baseless. He was responding to a question raised by Adhadhu journalist Shahuzaan during the briefing.

The President also said the matter will be investigated and called on relevant authorities to take appropriate action.

The ‘Aisha’ documentary features a woman who made allegations against the President, with the report including claims and supporting material such as messages. The documentary gained attention after being released on the outlet’s digital platforms.

The documentary, released last month by Adhadhu, features a woman who claims to have had a personal relationship with the President during her time working at the President’s Office, including allegations of a romantic and inappropriate relationship. The remarks were made in response to statements featured in the documentary. Officials reiterated that the claims hold no truth.
