The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has opened recruitment for the post of Director General of Public Health.
The permanent position is Rank 10, Step 1, with one vacancy based at the HPA in Malé’. The post carries a monthly salary of MVR 21,884 and allowances of MVR 12,534, in addition to an attendance allowance of MVR 339 per attendance. Benefits include medical services for civil servants and pension contributions under the Maldives Pension Act.
The Director General will perform duties under the Public Health Protection Act (Act No: 7/2012), including advising the Minister, managing public health risks, overseeing HPA operations, and setting national public health programmes and standards.
