The Presidential Youth Advisory Board has kicked off Salhi Fest, a three-day youth festival in Malé, marking the start of a series of new activities planned for young people.
The festival will be at the Youth Hub in Lily Magu, running from 27–29 November. Organisers say the event aims to bring together youth, learners, and young founders under one space.
The festival features business and food stalls, workshops, live shows, a free karaoke room, and a game zone. Events run across all three days, offering activities designed to engage and empower young people.
Speaking about the launch, Youth Board Member Mohamed Rayyan Mahir said the festival is the first of many youth-focused initiatives planned by the Presidential Youth Advisory Board.
The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information & Arts is hosting the event, which invites young people from across the capital to participate, learn, and connect.
