President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to honor former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and the families of the November 3 martyrs during the official Victory Day ceremony tomorrow.
The ceremony will be held at the Social Center in Malé at 9:00 a.m. President Muizzu decided to recognize President Maumoon’s leadership during the 1988 terrorist attack. He will also honor the eight soldiers and eleven civilians who were martyred in the attack.
President Muizzu will address the nation at the ceremony. Defense Minister Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon will also deliver remarks.
