A ceremony was held today to mark the beginning of the L. Maavah Shore Protection Project.
The event was graced by His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who attended as Chief Guest. The physical commencement of the project was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure, Hon. Dr. Abdulla Muththalib.
The ceremony was also attended by the Managing Director of MTCC, (Retd) DCP Ahmed Saudee, along with senior officials from the company.
The project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coastal protection in the Maldives.
