Construction of a new school has begun in Sh. Feevah, marking a major step in expanding education infrastructure in the Maldives.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attended the ceremony held this morning, joined by cabinet ministers, MPs, council officials, and MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudhee. Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development Adam Shareef Umar officially launched the project.
The MVR 58.89 million project, awarded to MTCC, will include a three-storey school with 19 classrooms, a two-storey office building, a multipurpose hall, and a security room. The complex will cover 6,997 square feet and is expected to be completed within 540 days.
President Muizzu said the new school will strengthen Feevah’s education system and provide students with better learning opportunities.
