Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has inaugurated the photo exhibition “Vocational Journey in Frames,” marking the 50th anniversary of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) services in the Maldives.
The event, organized by Maldives Polytechnic, was held at SIFCO Hall in Malé.
After inaugurating the exhibition, the Vice President signed a commemorative board for dignitaries and received a handmade gift from Maldives Polytechnic students, presented by CEO Zhushan Kamaaluddin.
He toured the exhibition, which showcases the growth, achievements, and future goals of the TVET sector. The display highlights how vocational education has shaped skilled workers and contributed to national progress since 1975.
Open to the public on October 7 and 8 at SIFCO Hall, the exhibition honors the contributions of trainers, students, and institutions that built the sector. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has emphasized the importance of developing a skilled, productive workforce to sustain the country’s future growth.
