Jumhooree Party leader and Maamigili MP Qasim Ibrahim has praised President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, saying he has never seen a leader as sincere and hardworking.
He made the remarks while accompanying the President on his tour of Alif Dhaal Atoll.
Speaking at a meeting with residents of ADh. Fenfushi, Qasim said President Muizzu’s dedication stands out among all leaders who have governed since the 2008 constitutional change. He described the President as someone who listens to councils, meets people directly, and resolves issues on the spot.
“As an elder and someone who has seen many governments, I can say from my heart that no one has worked with such sincerity and determination,” Qasim said.
A former minister under President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Qasim stressed that his comments were not flattery but a reflection of the President’s proven commitment to the people.
