The government has begun practical work on two major development projects in ADh. Dhidhdhoo a new building for the health center and a futsal ground.
The projects officially started today during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to the island as part of his Alif Dhaal Atoll tour.
Finance Minister Moosa Zameer inaugurated the construction of the new health center building at a special ceremony. He was joined by MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudy and members of the Dhidhdhoo Council.
The project covers 4,600 square feet and includes a perimeter wall and a portico. MTCC received the MVR 12.03 million contract, which must be completed within 270 days.
Sports Minister Abdullah Rafiu inaugurated the futsal ground project. The MVR 1.74 million project includes groundwork, concrete work, wall construction, and electrical installations. MTCC will complete it within 120 days.
