Authorities and stakeholders met today to finalize preparations for the opening of Hanimaadhoo International Airport.
The meeting was held at Hulhulé Island Hotel, attended by MACL CEO Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, Deputy Managing Director Mujtaba Latheef, and senior officials. Immigration Controller CP (Rtd.) Ahmed Faseeh and Customs Commissioner General Fathimath Diyana were also present.
Officials from Customs, Immigration, Civil Aviation, Police, MNDF, MNATS, and other agencies participated.
CEO Shareef said MACL is addressing issues at Hanimaadhoo Airport ahead of operations. He assured that safety and security will be improved under MACL management and pledged full cooperation with all stakeholders.
