President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed have honored teachers for their vital role in shaping the nation.
In a Teachers’ Day message, President Muizzu described teaching as a dignified service with value in this world and the hereafter
He said today’s students will become the strong generation Maldivians seek through teachers’ guidance and care. He stressed that teachers hold the greatest power in securing the country’s future.
The President assured continued government support for educators and extended congratulations and prayers for their families.
First Lady Sajida Mohamed said teachers act as parents and guardians to their students. She noted they pass knowledge and skills across generations and warned that without teachers, society has no future or hope. She prayed the Maldives will always benefit from virtuous teachers and congratulated them on the occasion.
