President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has launched major developmental project in ADh. Dhangethi, including a new school building project to address space constraints at the island’s school.
The government assigned Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation to build the school. It will feature a multipurpose hall, 10 classrooms, and other facilities. The agreement was signed during the President’s visit to ADh. Atoll.
During the same visit, President Muizzu inaugurated the construction of a new Council Office. RCC will rebuild 55 offices under a contractor finance scheme. Each office will include a boundary wall and furniture. The government plans to develop offices on over 100 islands in five years.
The President also launched a new police station project. Road Development Corporation will implement it. The initiative aims to expand police presence to all inhabited islands within two years.
Officials said these projects will improve education, local governance, and security on Dhangethi. They will support community growth and provide better services for residents.
