The Boduthakurufaanu North Side Road Development Project has completed the installation of pre-cast panels for Segment 1.
MTCC has begun quay wall capping concrete works, with 33% already complete. Reinforcement for the remaining sections is now in progress.
The project is expected to improve accessibility in Malé City through wider, pedestrian-friendly roads. It also introduces a modern stormwater drainage system to ease traffic congestion and reduce flooding.
According to officials, the upgrades will provide safer, more resilient infrastructure for all road users.
