Housing Minister Dr. Abdullah Muthalib has confirmed that the list of 4,000 Gedhoruverin flat recipients remains unchanged.
Muthalib dismissed claims that flats were sold or new names were added. He said the list announced on November 15, 2023, is final. Only those who fail to meet the criteria will be removed.
The Minister stressed that no one can alter or add to the gazetted list. He said the government will proceed strictly based on the announced names.
Handovers of the housing units have already begun. Recipients are first receiving keys to Tower 14 of the 16-tower Udhares project. Over 3,000 people have signed flat agreements so far.
