President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that financing has been secured for a modern 50-bed hospital in F. Nilandhoo through Saudi assistance.
Speaking to residents during his tour of four atolls, Muizzu said construction will begin once studies and designs are finalized, noting that foreign funding procedures had delayed immediate work.
At the same event, the government signed agreements to roll out multiple projects in Nilandhoo, including passport services, a fuel shed, land reclamation for a canning factory, road development, harbor construction, and WAMCO services.
The President emphasized that his administration makes only realistic commitments. “We do not make promises we cannot keep,” he said.
