Authorities are investigating singer D4vd after the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was discovered in a Tesla registered to him. Celeste had been reported missing in April 2024.
Police impounded the vehicle, registered to David Anthony Burke, D4vd’s legal name, after it was abandoned in Hollywood Hills. Investigators found the teen’s decomposed remains in the car’s front trunk.
A search warrant was executed at a Hollywood Hills residence connected to D4vd, with items seized as evidence. Following the discovery, several U.S. tour dates have been canceled, and promotional activities for his deluxe album have been paused.
The cause of death has not been determined, and authorities continue to investigate. No charges have been publicly filed.
