President Says Personal Trips Self-Funded

Speaking at a press conference at the President’s Office, the President said he has personally covered the costs of all private trips, including travel involving family members.

He stated that no public funds have been used for his personal travel, while noting that official work continues even during some trips, with President’s Office staff assisting with administrative duties.

The President also said that although the state has the authority to fund presidential travel, he has chosen not to use government funds for personal visits. He added that previous administrations had followed different practices in this regard.
