MWSC Managing Director Abdul Matheen Mohamed has resigned from his post.
Matheen announced his resignation in a social media post. The reason for his departure remains undisclosed.
He served in the utility sector for many years and held senior roles across multiple companies. He also contributed to renewable energy development in the Maldives.
His resignation comes amid broader leadership changes in state-owned enterprises. Senior officials at MIFCO and MPL also stepped down recently.
The government is yet to issue a statement on the developments.
