The government has revised President’s Scholarship rules, allowing top students to study in any field.
The Ministry of Higher Education has said students who achieve A* in five A Level subjects can choose any discipline under the scheme. The change follows earlier concerns over limiting scholarships to specific fields. Authorities have now confirmed broader eligibility.
Recipients must serve the government for four to seven years after completing their studies. Those who fail to do so must repay the cost.Eligibility for high achievers’ scholarships has also been revised. Students with one A* and four A grades will now qualify.
