Hulhumeedhoo Fish Plant Opens

The facility has been developed by MIFCO to purchase and process fish from the southern region. State Minister Aminath Hussain Shareef has inaugurated the plant at a ceremony attended by officials.

MIFCO has said the plant will improve earnings for fisheries stakeholders and ensure safe processing. It uses blast freezing technology to preserve fish.

Products are now available at the Hulhumeedhoo store, with efforts underway to expand distribution across Addu City.
