Housing Minister Abdulla Muththalib has launched the construction of 50 housing units in Thinadhoo City.
The project, awarded to Swift Engineering Private Limited, includes three bedroom homes designed to support growing housing demand.
Construction is expected to be completed within 450 days as part of the government’s broader housing initiative.
Authorities also said evaluation is ongoing for an additional 200 housing units, with more than 1,000 applications submitted.
