Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced the start of Phase 2 of the Boduthakurufaanu Magu expansion project in Malé.
Work on Segment 5, covering the northern side of the road, will begin on March 22 with sheet piling.
As part of the project, the road from the ferry terminal to the Fishermen’s Park will be closed from March 22, with further closures extending towards Izzuddin Jetty from March 23.
Authorities have advised the public to remove vehicles and any structures in the area ahead of the closures, as work will proceed in coordination with the police.
MTCC expressed appreciation for public cooperation as work continues to upgrade key infrastructure in the capital.
