The Maldives has condemned attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, calling for an immediate end to hostilities.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Maldives) also condemned Iranian attacks affecting Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
The ministry said it was deeply concerned about strikes on airports, oil facilities and civilian locations in the Gulf region, describing them as violations of international law and the Geneva Conventions.
The statement also expressed concern over the worsening situation in the Middle East, including reported civilian casualties and attacks on hospitals and infrastructure.
The Maldives called on the international community to strengthen diplomatic efforts and take concrete steps to restore peace and stability in the region.
