inger Olivia Dean has been announced as a headliner for the final day of BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland this May.
Dean will close the Sunday show alongside Niall Horan and Kehlani when the festival takes place at Herrington Country Park from 22 to 24 May.
The event will open on Friday with dance acts led by Fatboy Slim and Sonny Fodera. Saturday’s main stage line-up includes Zara Larsson, Louis Tomlinson and Lola Young.
Other performers across the weekend include CMAT, Myles Smith, Ezra Collective, Flo and Jorja Smith.
Organisers expect tens of thousands of fans to attend the three-day festival, which will feature around 100 acts. Tickets start at £44.50 per day, with priority sales offered to local residents.
