A Florida woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly opening fire at the Los Angeles home of pop star Rihanna.
Prosecutors say 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz drove to the property and fired several rounds from a semiautomatic rifle on Sunday afternoon before fleeing.
No one was injured. Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, were reportedly inside the house at the time.
Police later found Ortiz’s white Tesla at a shopping centre about eight miles away and arrested her.
She now faces attempted murder and multiple firearm charges. Prosecutors say the shooting endangered people inside the home and nearby properties. Ortiz is being held on $1.875 million bail and could face life in prison if convicted.
