The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has warned that the Maldives is again experiencing haze, with conditions expected to persist for the next few days.
In an update, HPA cited information from the Maldives Meteorological Service, which reported reduced visibility and deteriorating air quality in several areas.
The agency urged the public to take precautionary measures, particularly children, the elderly, and people with respiratory or heart conditions.
HPA advised residents to limit outdoor activities and to follow health guidance while haze conditions continue.
