Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has signed agreements with key partners for the Maldives Maritime Conference.
The agreements were signed at a ceremony held at MPL Head Office, with MPL CEO DCP (Retd) Mohamed Rishwan signing on behalf of the company.
The conference partners include Maldives State Shipping as Logistics Partner, Public Service Media as Broadcasting Partner, Villa Shipping & Trading Company as Hosting Partner, and Maldives Maritime Journal as Magazine Partner.
Other partners include the Maldives Coast Guard, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The Maldives Police Service will serve as the Security and Safety Partner, while Maldives National University (MNU) has been named the Academic Partner.
The second edition of the Maldives Maritime Conference, themed “Security, Safety and Sustainability,” will be held on April 15, featuring international and local maritime experts.
