Bank of Maldives has increased the monthly foreign currency spending limits on its credit cards, effective February 1, giving cardholders greater flexibility for overseas spending.
Under the revised limits, the Classic Credit Card foreign spending cap has been raised from USD 750 to USD 1,400 per month. The Gold Credit Card limit has increased from USD 750 to USD 1,500, while the Platinum Credit Card limit has doubled from USD 1,500 to USD 3,000 per month.
The increase applies to monthly dollar limits and is intended to ease overseas transactions, including online purchases, international payments, and subscription services.
