Tourist arrivals to the Maldives have crossed 135,000 so far this year, according to figures released by the Tourism Ministry.
The ministry said more than 135,000 tourists arrived in the Maldives by January 19, 2026. The highest daily arrivals were recorded on October 13, with 21,486 tourists, while the lowest were on January 3, with 4,227 arrivals.
Russia tops the list of source markets so far this year, followed by Italy and Britain. The top six markets are:
