Xabi Alonso has parted ways with Real Madrid after a turbulent stint as manager.

Injuries, unfulfilled transfer requests, and star players’ resistance hindered his approach. European clubs remain interested in Alonso, while Alvaro Arbeloa is set to take over at Madrid.
