Maldives cruised to a dominant 6–1 win over Bangladesh to tighten their grip on the SAFF Futsal Championship.

Maldives dominated the match at Bangkok’s Nonthaburi Indoor Stadium from the start. Captain Mohamed Imran scored in the first minute, followed by goals from Ishan Ibrahim and Ahmed Rahil Rasheed to make it 3–0 early.

Bangladesh scored once through Kazi Ibrahim Ahamed, but their hopes faded after Intishar Mustafa was sent off for a handball in the penalty area. Ali Shiyah scored from the spot.

Rahil added his second goal in the 31st minute, and Abdulla Shafiu sealed the win late on.

Maldives have now scored 13 goals in two matches and conceded only two. They sit top of the table with six points.
