Two Maldivian men have died while traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage.
A media official from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs said the two men had traveled under the Safa Group and Hijaj Group. Their funeral arrangements have been completed.
The ministry confirmed that, aside from these two cases, all other Maldivian Umrah pilgrims over 7,000 this year are in good health.
