The Maldives has launched Taskin, the country’s first dedicated freelancer platform, connecting local talent with clients nationwide.
Taskin is now available on the App Store and Google Play, offering skilled professionals a platform to grow their careers and businesses a way to quickly find reliable local talent.
Developed over several years, the app overcame major challenges before going live. “After years of development and overcoming every hurdle, we are finally delivering a platform that every Maldivian deserves,” the developers said.
The platform aims to boost the Maldives’ digital economy by bridging the gap between freelancers and clients. The launch marks the start of a broader movement toward a digital-first economy, encouraging Maldivians to offer skills, hire talent, and participate in shaping the country’s digital future.
