A Paris labor court has ruled that Paris Saint-Germain must pay Kylian Mbappe €60 million in unpaid salary and bonuses.
The decision ends part of a bitter legal dispute following Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid on a free transfer. The striker claimed PSG withheld earnings for April, May, and June 2024.
The court found PSG failed to pay three months of salary, an ethics bonus, and a signing bonus under his contract. Previous rulings by the French Professional Football League (LFP) in September and October 2024 had confirmed these sums were due.
Mbappe’s lawyer, Frederique Cassereau, said: “We are satisfied with the ruling. This is what you could expect when salaries went unpaid.”
