Maldives Police have arrested 10 people after more than 13.6 million cigarettes were stolen from two containers at Maldives Ports Limited’s Hulhumalé International Terminal on April 26.
Among those connected to the case is 36-year-old Bangladeshi national Mohammed Alamin Miya, who has died. Authorities are investigating the network behind the theft, and more arrests may follow as the probe continues.
