The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has opened a window for complaints regarding the list of 50 underprivileged individuals selected to perform Hajj next year under the government’s sponsorship program.
The draw to select the pilgrims was held on the 9th of this month, with an additional 25 individuals chosen as alternates in case any of the main participants are unable to attend.
Complaints can be submitted from today until 12:00 p.m. on the 12th of this month via email. The Ministry will review all submissions before finalizing the list of selected pilgrims.
The initiative is part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to send 1,000 underprivileged citizens for Hajj during his first term. The first group under the program departed in 1445 .
