President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu returned to Malé after touring the ADh. Atoll islands from 6 to 8 October to review ongoing projects and meet local communities.
During the visit, he toured ten islands, including Dhangethi, Dhidhdhoo, Omadhoo, Dhigurah, Maamigili, Mandhoo, Fenfushi, Hangnaameedhoo, Mahibadhoo, and Kun’burudhoo.
He met with Island Councils, Women’s Development Committees, institutional heads, and residents to discuss local priorities, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior officials who provided updates on ongoing and planned projects.
The President inaugurated initiatives including Bank of Maldives ATMs on multiple islands and marked the completion of passport service rollout nationwide, giving all residents local access.
He also announced 27 bills to be submitted to Parliament in October, aimed at addressing national challenges.
President Muizzu emphasized listening to residents, improving public services, and reducing barriers to essential services across the country.
