ID card and passport services have been expanded to every atoll, fulfilling a key pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
The final phase of the expansion concluded with the launch of services in ADh. Mahibadhoo last night. The inauguration took place during a public meeting held as part of President Muizzu’s visit to ADh. Atoll.
Minister of Homeland Security Ali Ihusaan officially launched the services and presented a commemorative plaque to President Muizzu, marking the successful completion of the national initiative.
With this expansion, residents across all atolls can now access ID and passport services locally, strengthening public service accessibility across the country.
