President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu today promised swift action on major development projects in ADh. Dhangethi to boost the island’s economy and services.
The President met residents during his visit to ADh. Atoll and highlighted land reclamation, coastal protection, and harbor development as top priorities.
He announced a new school building with 10 classrooms and a multipurpose hall. Existing classrooms and the hall will be air-conditioned until completion. Construction for a health center extension will start once land is allocated.
Noting the island’s growing tourism, he confirmed a dollar ATM by early 2026 and a modern football field funded next year. These projects aim to improve education, health, infrastructure, and economic growth on Dhangethi.
