President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has established the Digital Transformation Council to drive his “Maldives 2.0 – Digital First Nation” agenda.
Chaired by the President, the council will oversee the rollout of the national digital roadmap, advise on key policies, and track implementation progress.
The initiative seeks to modernize government services, making them faster, more transparent, and secure. It also aims to strengthen state institutions and expand the use of modern technology in service delivery.
According to the government, the move is expected to accelerate digital transformation efforts across the country.
