The deal was signed during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s tour of four atolls.
State Minister Abdul Latheef Mohamed signed on behalf of the Education Ministry, while MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudee signed for the company.
The new building will feature 11 classrooms, a staff room, a computer lab, and a science lab. MTCC says the project will ease space constraints and give students modern facilities.
The contract is worth MVR 23.79 million. Work must be completed within 360 days.
MTCC added that the new labs will open doors to more learning opportunities and academic progress for students in Keyodhoo.
